Purists may argue, but wanting a smooth finish so a light skim of filler where a couple of dents had been picked up over the years and welding marks.
Fortunate to find an original fan shroud which still had some of the original paint, albeit still needing some prep/resto, but condition was pretty good and hadn't messed with.
